The cookies we set

NEXT_LOCALE — remembers whether you are reading in English or Arabic, so you are not sent back to the wrong language on your next visit. Expires after one year.

aqt_portal_demo — set only if you sign in to the customer portal, and only for the duration of that session. It holds no personal data. Expires after eight hours.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking. This site sets none of those, so asking you to click through a banner would be theatre rather than protection.

If analytics are introduced later, a consent mechanism will be introduced with them, defaulting to off until you choose otherwise.

Blocking cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking these two will not break the site: the language will simply default rather than being remembered, and the customer portal will not keep you signed in.
