Bulk road salt for highway, airfield and municipal winter maintenance.
Specifying note
Sodium chloride works down to about −7 °C in practice; below that the melt rate collapses and a chloride blend or a pre-wetted application is needed. Granulometry matters as much as purity — too fine and it blows off the carriageway before it works, too coarse and it bounces.
