Applications
Swimming Pools
Pool sand and glass-clear filtration for commercial, hotel and public pools.
Specifying note
0.4–0.8 mm is the standard pool grade. Replace every 3–5 years — channelling from cemented media is the usual cause of persistent cloudiness.
Design parameters
- Filtration rate
- 30 – 50 m/h
- Replacement interval
- 3 – 5 years
- Sand charge

A starting point, not a design. Final layer depths follow from vessel diameter, design filtration rate and target effluent quality.
