Applications
Animal Nutrition & Livestock
Feed-grade salt as licks and loose granular for cattle, sheep, goats and poultry.
Specifying note
Sodium and chloride are the two macro-minerals forage reliably fails to supply, and salt is the only practical carrier for both. Free-choice licks let the animal regulate its own intake; salt mixed into a ration delivers a fixed dose and must be balanced on paper. Mineralised blocks are formulated by the customer's nutritionist — copper especially, because sheep tolerate far less of it than cattle.
